Start with the right file
- Use PNG files at 300 DPI with fully transparent backgrounds.
- Outline or rasterize small text and avoid hairlines under 1 pt.
- Size each design to its real print dimensions before placing it.
Nest designs tightly — but leave breathing room
Pack designs close together to use the full roll width, but keep a small consistent gap (about 0.25") between pieces so they are easy to weed and trim cleanly after pressing.
Respect the roll width
RavenDTF gang sheets print on 22" roll widths. Rotate designs where it helps them fit, and group similar sizes together to avoid awkward empty strips.
Keep safe margins at the edges
Leave a small margin at the sheet edges so nothing gets clipped during trimming. Designs that run right to the edge risk uneven cuts.
Mix designs to fill gaps
Drop smaller logos, names, or pocket prints into the empty spaces between large designs. Filling gaps is free space you already paid for.
